Take control of your crypto
Own your coins with the hardware wallet that keeps them offline, untouchable and truly yours.
- code
100% open-source code and design
- devices
One secure app for desktop and mobile
- history
Easy to set up, simple to recover
You have the login. They have the power.
When your crypto sits on an exchange or in an app, someone else holds the keys. One breach, one frozen account, one collapse, and it is gone, because it was never really yours.
How Trezor keeps your keys yours
Four mechanisms, and all four are checkable on the device itself. None of them asks you to take our word for anything.
Own your crypto
Your private keys are created on the Trezor and never leave it. No custodian, no third party, no one else's permission.
Take your keys offline
The keys live on the device, never on the internet. A hacker cannot take what they cannot reach.
Verify every transaction
Read the amount and the address on the Trezor screen, then confirm it there. Blind signing is how people get drained.
Recover any time
Lose the device, not the coins. Your wallet backup restores the same wallet onto any Trezor.
Which Trezor is yours?
All three run the same open-source firmware and the same app. What changes is the screen, the connectivity and the price.

We started the industry
We did not follow the industry, we created it. Since 2013 we have built wallets that put owners in control, and we funded it ourselves so that security never has to answer to an investor.
100% independent
Self-funded, with no outside investors or VCs. That is why security, privacy and control are never traded away for growth.
The original innovators
In 2013 we shipped the first hardware crypto wallet. Everything the category has become since started here.
Radically open source
Our code and our secure element are open to inspection. Where proof is possible, we do not ask for blind trust.
Rebels with a cause
A team of 200+ people with a single goal: tools that give people uncompromising self-custody and financial freedom.

Take control
Your questions, answered
Exchange breaches still happen, and funds sitting on an exchange are not yours to control. An exchange can freeze an account, restrict withdrawals or fail outright, and when that happens your coins move on someone else's schedule. A hardware wallet removes that third party: the keys are created on your device and stay there.
Nothing, as long as you kept the wallet backup you create during setup. That backup, also called a recovery phrase, restores the same wallet onto any new Trezor. Keep it offline and never share it with anyone, and losing the device costs you a device, not your coins.
Yes, and your keys still never leave the device. Trezor connects to dApps and marketplaces over WalletConnect, and Trezor Suite handles buying, selling, swapping and staking. Every transaction is confirmed on the Trezor screen before it is signed.
Setup is a guided flow that takes a few minutes: create the wallet, write down the backup, set a PIN. There is no command line and no prior crypto knowledge needed, and the app walks you through each step as you go.
What decides it is not the size of the balance, it is that whatever you hold is yours. Crypto is a long game, and what is worth a few hundred today may not be in a few years. The cost of protecting it is paid once.
Trezor is fully open source, so anyone can inspect the code and the design rather than trust a claim. On-device confirmation means you approve exactly what you see, and the Trezor Safe 7 pairs that with a transparent, auditable secure element and a quantum-ready design.
No. You see the full cost of any buy, sell or swap before you confirm it, and you can compare the offers available to you. When you send crypto you pay only the standard network fee, which goes to miners or validators, never to Trezor.
